PROFESSIONAL RECORDING STUDIO PRICING

Frequency Studios offers Recording, Mixing, Mastering, Music Production, and an Artist Development Program for independent artists, bands, singer songwriters, and commercial clients.
Every project is different, but our goal remains the same: helping you create professional-quality recordings and achieve the best possible results.
Whether you're recording a single song, producing an EP, developing as an artist, or creating commercial audio content, you'll have access to a professionally designed recording environment, experienced production guidance, and industry-standard equipment.
STUDIO RECORDING RATES
Studio Recording – $150/hr
Includes:
• Professional audio engineer
• Production guidance and creative support
• Acoustically treated recording spaces
• Professional recording equipment
2 Hour Minimum Booking
All bookings require a 50% deposit.
MIXING AND MASTERING RATES
Professional mixing services designed to improve clarity, balance, impact, and translation across modern playback systems.
Mixing – $150/hr
Analog Mixing – $175/hr
Final preparation for streaming platforms, digital distribution, and commercial release.
Mastering – $150/Track
Analog Mastering – $200/Track
Additional Services:
• Vocal Editing – $150/hr
• Vocal Tuning – $150/hr
• Audio Restoration – $175/hr
• Audio Recovery – $200/hr (1 hour minimum)
MUSIC PRODUCTION SERVICES
Professional production support for artists at every stage of the creative process.
Services include:
• Song development
• Arrangement assistance
• Vocal production
• Creative direction
• Artist development
• Production coaching
Production Services – Starting at $150/hr
DEMO PACKAGE
10 Hour Demo Package – $1,400
Includes:
• 10 studio hours
• Professional audio engineer
• 1 hour production consultation
A great option for artists looking to create high-quality demos while receiving professional guidance throughout the recording process.
MUSIC MARKETING
Release campaigns for independent artists, including strategy, press releases, playlist curator pitching and press features.
Campaign Management – $150/hr
Plus a promotion budget for curator platforms and press.
A single release campaign is typically quoted at around 20 hours. We quote a flat package up front, so you know the full cost before we start.
Branding, EPKs, artist websites and content strategy are quoted per project.
LESSONS AND COACHING
• Guitar Lessons: $50 / 30 min, $85 / hr
Includes technique, theory and playing ergonomics, including posture and body mechanics that help you play longer, cleaner and injury free.
• Instrument Lessons (piano, bass, drums and more): from $70 / hr
• Vocal Coaching: $85 / hr
Build your voice with technique that actually makes sense. Breath, support, tone and range, explained in plain language you can use right away.
• Studio Vocal Coaching: $150 / hr
One-on-one coaching in the studio for singers preparing to record or perform. Real technique without the textbook jargon, plus mic technique, delivery and performance, taught in a way you can actually feel and apply.
Music Production & Mixing Lessons:
One-on-one, hands-on lessons using your own songs and sessions. New to production? We'll provide studio session files to work with.
• 2-hour session: $400
• 4-hour session: $750
• 6-hour intensive: $1,050
CORPORATE AUDIO SERVICES
Frequency Studios also provides professional audio services for commercial clients.
Services include:
• Voice-over recording
• ADR
• Commercial production
• Podcast production
• Sound design
Corporate projects are quoted individually based on project scope and requirements.
REMOTE RECORDING SERVICES
Remote Multitrack Recording
Starting at $1,500 plus technician and travel fees.
Perfect for live performances, concerts, rehearsals, and location-based recording projects that require professional multitrack capture.
